Introduction

Lifu Museum of Chinese Medicine is the one only museum of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in Taiwan. Education in TCM is constantly as a major feature of China Medical University (CMU), known as the pioneer in Taiwan to develop promote the integration of traditional Chinese-Western medicine. The collection of our museum includes classics, artifacts, precious Chinese medicine, tools equipment of TCM, we are proud to announce that we have the most completed collection of TCM in Taiwan.
With numerous effort of directors in the past three decades, the museum has gradually become a modern museum with both the traditional way of cultural relics advanced approach of multimedia facilities for the education of TCM.
The Museum is located on floor 1 to 3 of Huchu Hall(互助大樓), CMU, with an area of 1350 square meters. It contains five galleries: History Gallery of CMU, Gallery II of Chinese medical artifacts, Gallery III of history of Chinese medicine, Gallery IV for medical plants Gallery V, the medicinal substances derived from animals minerals.
With the sufficient collections of TCM, the museum is a valuable place of cultural, educational research function, for foreign domestic professionals, it is truly a hub of TCM for scholars, but also serves as an educational place for people with cultural function social benefit.
